Registration
An on-site consultation at Artroklinika in Kaunas with Dr. Kąpiński, a physiotherapist and an OPSA orthotist. Consultation fee: €100, paid on the day. If you decide to proceed with treatment, the Ponseti package in Warsaw is priced separately at ≈ €1,650 (7,000 PLN). After registering, you will receive an email with instructions on how to send photos or a short video of your child's feet so the team can review the case in advance.

On 5 September in Kaunas, an OPSA orthotist joins Dr. Kąpiński and the physiotherapist on-site — so measurements, brace selection and clinical assessment happen in one appointment, in one place.

Return in 5 weeks — final fitting
The OPSA team returns to Kaunas 5 weeks later to deliver the finished orthosis and complete the fitting. No trip to Poland required for this step.

OPSA specialises in foot abduction braces (FAB) and paediatric orthoses used in the Ponseti protocol.
Orthotist-only visit — €50
Some families only need the orthotist: a brace check, new measurements or a size change. If you are not booking a consultation with Dr. Kąpiński, an appointment with the OPSA orthotist alone costs €50.

Meet your surgeon
Dr. Jacek Kąpiński is a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon specialising in clubfoot. 80% of his patients are children with this condition. He trained under Prof. Jose Morcuende at the University of Iowa, is an active EPOS member, and has attended international clubfoot training courses in Greece, Portugal, Brazil, Austria and the United Kingdom. He treats 60–80 newborn clubfoot cases per year — approximately 30–40% of all such cases diagnosed in Poland. He has been practising the Ponseti Method since 2015 and currently works at the Children of Warsaw Hospital and Paley European Institute.

Bring your child's health record book, any existing ultrasound or X-ray reports, and a list of current medications or allergies. If your child has already been treated, bring previous cast records, photos, or surgical notes.
No. Dr. Kąpiński consults from birth, but also sees older babies, toddlers, and children with relapses, post-surgical complications, or other foot problems. The earlier we see the feet, the more treatment options are available.
Dr. Kąpiński will examine your child's feet and discuss the diagnosis. The physiotherapist will assess movement and the OPSA orthotist will check whether a brace or orthosis is needed. You will leave with a clear plan and answers to your questions.
Yes, if possible. After you register, you will receive an email with the address to send photos or a short video. This lets the team review the case before you arrive and make the meeting more focused.

Absolutely. Many families come for a second opinion or because treatment has stalled or relapsed. Bring any previous records so Dr. Kąpiński can understand exactly what has been done.
The OPSA orthotist will take measurements during the Kaunas visit. The custom orthosis is then made in Poland and the OPSA team returns to Kaunas approximately 5 weeks later for the final fitting — no trip to Warsaw is needed for this step.
